I hope my brother reads this once he grows up To the person who parties at the elevator and believes Five Nights at Freddies exist. To the kid who hates sharing the most, yet we share everything, from blood to flesh, eyes and skin, home to hotel room, deed and sin. We share the same favourite food yet with different flavours I like mine spicy and hot You like yours not Nothing deters you to eat some of mine nevertheless. We do not like each other's presence yet we long for it when it's gone for half of the years you have lived and I was rarely there to witness the moments "Oman, you've grown taller" "Along dah gemuk la" Maybe it's the stress of boarding school Maybe it's the depression of having no you I hope that you will become anyone you want to be Anything that I am Anything that I will be Anything that I am not I hope you will love our parents as much as they love you Even when the times will come when you have doubts Know that your doubts are never true You are their biggest treasure they cannot keep That's why they are too careful If it's possible for the world to be lost It is if we were to lose you I hope you'll be blessed with eternal happiness As you are the key to ours I hope you can forever laugh even in your hardest times I hope you will find yourself in the toughest situations I hope you will be successful and strong but remain kindhearted and humble I hope you would always know that I will love you no matter what happens if you ever lose faith in rainbows and sunshine I hope you'd still believe in the moon and stars But lastly, I wish that you would never grow up I wish that you would never be tall I wish that you would just stay small so that my little brother is forever by my side sadly a wish is just a wish and that is the most impossible of all Hopes and wishes are nice but it will never wipe fear In this case I am afraid though there's nothing I can do that a step we take towards growth is a step towards losing you, forever. Happy 9th birthday, Wan Luqman Khairin. xoxo, your sister, at accurately 15 years and 10 months. 5:14 AM
